Joy has specialized in Prenatal Massage for over 20 years. The health and well being of both mother & baby are always at the forefront of her work and addressing the specific concerns associated with pregnancy are her specialty. She became a Certified Prenatal Therapist in 1997 after taking an advanced course in pregnancy massage with Carol Osborne. She then studied with Dr. Rosita Arvigo of the Arvigo Institute in coursework entitled 'Supporting Pregnancy: From Preconception through the Postpartum Period'. This work addresses many specific symptoms of pregnancy and eases pregnancy related issues including uterine ligament pain, back tension and postural & pelvic challenges.
